Water Powered Vehicles

OK, here it is:
I was first told about water being able to power vehicles (diesel, gasoline) earlier this year. I researched it, and it all looked very feasible to me - especially the partially water-powered technology. But people would ask me: Have you ever personally seen one in operation? Well, no I hadn't.
But Now I Have!

In fact, I have now seen two vehicles in operation using this technology. One is a gasoline powered truck, and the other is a diesel powered van. Both are in New Zealand. Here is a link to my YouTube movie I created about it: http://in.youtube.com/watch?v=S6fR2utJKtw

And here are the photos:The Truck:

This 4 wheel drive truck was getting about 30 km (18 miles) per gallon before the booster was installed. It is now getting around 50 km (29miles) per gallon with the booster. This is an increase of 67% (50-30/30).

The booster in the truck was a home-made one, from the directions one can get from Run Your Car With Water, http://www.runyourcarwithwater.com/

Here are some of the parts needed to put one together:

And here is the guts of it:

The Diesel Van

The second vehicle, the diesel van, is owned by Peter Baker. Peter is the Australasian distributor for pre-made boosters, for those who don't want to put one together on their own. Here is Peter with his van:

And a photo of the assembled booster he sells:

Peter says there are about 25 of these in operation in New Zealand through his efforts. Go Peter!

Peter is the Australasian distributor for Browns Gas, http://www.brownsgas.com/ , and Peter's website is http://www.h2orse.com/

From the brownsgas website, I learned that it is more established technology than I had realised:

  • May 2008 In Portugal the first 300 diesel trucks will be provided with a Brown's Gas fuel saver.

  • May 2008 Browns Gas / HHO fuel injection (HFI) technology will now be used on school buses in Canada.

  • June 2008 The first Dutch fishingboat will be equiped with Browns Gas fuel saver generators in 2008.

  • August 2008, Manufacturer B.E.S.T.Korea officially introduces their products in Europe. Based in Londen, UK. See homepage.
  • Companies like SAMSUNG already use Brown's Gas because of the high quality cut and seel of vacuum glass pipes of PDP, LCD TV that needs the best quality.
  • November 2007 Guidelines for Commercial Vehicles using Hydrogen Gas: http://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/facts-research/research-technology/report/Guidelines-H2-Fuel-in-CMVs-Nov2007.pdf Published by the US Dept of Transportation
  • "Recently I took part in the highway test of a vehicle driven twice over the same 200-kilometre course, on cruise control, at the same speed, once with the system off and once with it on. A temperature sensor from an accurate pyrometer kit had been inserted directly into the exhaust manifold, to eliminate thermal distortion from the catalytic converter. On average, the exhaust manifold temperature was 65°F lower during the second trip when the Hydrogen Generating System was switched on. The fuel consumption with the unit off was 5.13253 km/li. and 7.2481 km/li. with it on, giving a mileage increase of 41.2% and a fuel savings attributable to the unit of 29.18% " George Vosper, P. Eng. June 1998 , from this link: http://www.hydrogen-boost.com/hydrogeninjection.html
Here is a link for a completely water powered car kit, with solar panel as electricity source: great for Christmas gifts!!

GenePax completely water powered vehicle video, June 2008 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eb9urNUFzAM

And on this website is a video with former president Jimmy Carter talking about his efforts to increase gas mileage, and how the industry slipped back to where it was when he first took office over 25 years ago: http://www.waterfuelx.com/?hop=cyberspot

I look forward to seeing this technology expand further - especially in vehicles, since gasoline and diesel are so polluting, and bad for health. I also look forward to seeing it used to heat homes and provide hot water, and cooking gas. Knowing that this technology exists helps me feel very hopeful about the future.

BBC World Challenge, Central Banks, and Water Powered Cars

BBC WORLD CHALLENGE

I feel very happy today. One of the projects supported by the MEND Trust (which you have heard about often on this blog), has been selected by the BBC as one of 12 finalists in their World Challenge Competition. The project is the SheHope center for disability in Kashmir, India. http://www.shehope.org/

Now in its fourth year, World Challenge 08 is a global competition aimed at finding projects or small businesses from around the world that have shown enterprise and innovation at a grass roots level. World Challenge 08 is brought to you by BBC World News and Newsweek, in association with Shell, and is about championing and rewarding small projects and business which really make a difference.

The winner will receive a grant of USD $20 000 to put back into their project/business, and two runners up will each receive USD $10 000. One representative from each of the three finalists will be flown to The Hague, The Netherlands to attend the award ceremony in December 2008.

The winner will be the organization which receives the most votes. I would be very grateful if you would consider voting for SheHope, at this link:

You can learn about the other 11 worthy projects a the world challenge home page. Just scroll your mouse over the photos at the bottom of the World Challenge home page, and a link will appear for each project.

THE MONEY MASTERS

A week ago, here in New Zealand, a friend from church and I watched a couple of DVDs called The Money Masters. Now, I have been interested in finance and investments all my adult life. Most of you know I have a Master's degree in Business Administration. I fund my travels on my investments. But I never knew half the things I learned in these movies. They answered many questions I had wondered to myself about over the years. And perfectly explains why this new 700 billion dollar crisis was sprung on us at just this time, and why we did not read about it in the business sections of the newspapers in the preceding months. I know. I read them all avidly. Want to know? We all should know. Here is the website: http://www.themoneymasters.com/
If you do an internet search on The Money Masters you will see there is (or was) a YouTube video on it, which is currently not available. Not surprising.
Oh, and if you can't find it free on line to watch, and want to know about it, contact me and I will lend one of my copies to you to watch.

WATER POWERED VEHICLES
OK, now you are really going to think I have jumped off the deep end. But no, I have not. In the next couple of days I will be visiting one of the board members of The MEND Trust, who is partially fueling his van with Brown's gas http://www.brownsgas.com/hho_gas.html Peter Deveros is the Secretary of the MEND Trust, and is very knowleadgeable about this technology. Here is his website: http://www.h2orse.com/ But it was another friend, Phil, who really got me started on this, back in June. Here is his e-mail to me which got me researching, and believing:

Dear Diane Here's something that may interest you. Did you ever see "Who Killed The Electric Car?" If you did, then you know that GM and Toyota made some great prototypes in '96, and thanks to Stan Ovshinsky's battery, had the potential to go 300 miles per charge. That's what they could have done if GM hadn't ground their small fleet of EVs into dust and Chevron/Texoco hadn't bought up 60% controlling interest in Stan's battery. That was 1998. About the same time the electric car bit the dust, so did Stanley Meyer. Ever hear of him? I hadn't either until I began doing research after following some links at the site recommended by "Who Killed...", http://www.pluginamerica.com/. Quite by chance I stumbled onto these two news stories:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8stApCmxYEM&feature=related
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h75_TGiwg78&feature=related
Stan died on March 21st, 1998 after eating at a restaurant in Grove City, Ohio, where, in the middle of his meal, he jumped up from the table and yelled: "I've been poisoned", then ran out into the parking lot to die in front of his brother a short time later. I sent these links to an engineer friend of mine and he thinks it's a bunch of hooey. If there was a cold fusion process of extracting hydrogen from water he would have heard of it. He knows it's impossible. Can't be done. I then sent him this link:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jivb7lupDNUand the link to the GenePax site:http://www.genepax.co.jp/en/ He still didn't believe it and chided me for being so gullible. I wrote a friend of mine in Spain and he says he's seen the Japanese H20 car ad on TV over there. I discovered the GenePax site on June 15th, the same day a news release by their PR Manager, Jun Onishi, was posted inviting the foreign press to make reservations for see a demonstration. I just revisited the site and that News Release has been deleted! (DE note: the company was suddenly purchased in July by a large firm: Kankyo Business. Nothing available any more, at least not in English. Taken over to kill it? One has to wonder) Stan's brother, Steve, started a company in Canada using Stan's patents, called Xogen (http://www.xogen.ca/). The promo for the company (www.youtube.com/watch?v=pXo7CVFI5Sk) lists many more of its applications than does the company site, which only shows the treatment of wastewater. Steve is being very coy about openly touting its use in hydrogen powered vehicles after what happened to his brother.
Another exciting development in the alternative energy field is nano solar (http://www.nanosolar.com/) So there have been a lot of breakthroughs in the alternative energy arena, but very little is making it to the corporate press.

Phil

here is the link to buy the technology: Dianehttp://www.runyourcarwithwater.com/

I will be following developments in this area, and will include photos in my next update of Peter's van and how it supplements gasoline with gas produced from water. It is not a perpetual motion machine, it just allows your engines to burn more efficiently. Nothing magic in that!
